Message from the President

Today, globalization has enabled companies to establish themselves around the world to gain the market. Our objective is to offer our customers, an accessible, friendly, fast service and high quality products from countries such as France, USA, Canada, Ivory Coast, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Liberia, Ghana, Togo, Belgium, China, Japan, India to name a few.

New communication technologies such as the Internet, are incredibly making easy trades between firms and customers around the world. Our goal is to promote African products worldwide and import quality products and services that are necessary for the development of African countries such as Ivory Coast and its sub-regions.

In the spirit of our customers, integrity, discipline and dedication to work, are the up-most values and policy that govern our organization. In our company, the customers are, and shall always receive the most deserved attention.

Our mission

The mission of CICAN-International Import-Export is first, to import all kinds of products essential for the development of local businesses and individuals, and second, to promote products and services from Africa, particularly  from Ivory Coast. This mission of trade, comes with some logistic products and services, namely (transportation, customs clearance, transit, storage, to name a few), as well as a  service of the distribution of products and services to wholesalers and retailers.

History

CICAN-International Import-Export Corporation inherited from Microcana-Export Inc, a company launched in 1998 in Montreal, Canada, by Robert Yavo and Alexander Jevremovic, both Canadians with nearly 20 years of experience in business and trade. Microcana-Export Inc. was specialized in the exportation of products and services, electronics and office equipments, from Canada to Africa and especially to Ivory Coast.

The company’s activities have been slow down from 2002 to until April 2011 due to political tensions prevailing in Ivory Coast. Today, in 2012, the political climate in Ivory Coast has come back to normal and is safe, and our business activities have restarted. Equipped with a better business strategy and plan, we are currently creating  20 jobs and hundreds of indirect jobs. In the long term our outreach plan is to be able to hire about 200 employees worldwide.
